FAQs
What insurances do you take?
I am set up to process most Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, and Cigna plans. It is important to be familiar with and verify your benefits with your health insurance carrier while starting the process of finding a therapist, and it’s something I can also help with!
What if my insurance isn’t covered?
If I cannot take or process your insurance, you have a couple of options. You can see if you can submit the claims for reimbursement yourself and/or utilize out-of-network benefits to do so. I also offer sliding scale pricing, based on income level.
How long are sessions?
Sessions are typically 53 minutes. I am open to longer sessions, or multiple sessions per week if clinically indicated.
How long will I be in therapy for?
This varies person to person, and we can talk about an estimate of time together when we have our initial session and in the following first few weeks. I have made great progress with folks in 1-3 months, and had some clients for almost 2 years!
Do you do telehealth and in-person?
I sure do!
Can I bring my significant other?
I am open to having “one-off” sessions where we can bring your partner, sibling, spouse, or whoever to the session, if clinically indicated. I think it’s important to bring loved ones into the process of therapy, and if family/couple’s therapy is needed, I can help you find someone to help!
